Luggage manufacturing capabilities — shell to carton, on one site
Luggage manufacturing breaks into five stages. We run all five in Deqing, which is what keeps specification control and lead time in our hands rather than a supplier's.
Five stages, all in-house
1 · Sheet extrusion
ABS and PC sheet extruded on site. Thickness and colour are controlled at source, so a shell spec change does not become a supplier negotiation.
- ABS / PC / ABS+PC composite
- Custom colour matching
- Thickness 1.8–3.0 mm
2 · Vacuum forming
Shells formed on our own moulds. Existing tooling covers ride-on, kids trolley, front-opening and adult trolley geometries; new shapes go to tooling in 35–45 days.
- In-house mould maintenance
- Egg-shell ride-on geometry
- Texture and emboss options
3 · Sewing & lining
Lining, pockets, straps and elastic systems sewn in our own workshop — the reason we can hold a 25–35 day production window.
- Dedicated kids-range lines
- Custom print lining
- YKK / local zipper options
4 · Assembly & hardware
Trolley systems, wheels, locks and handles fitted on line. Hardware is bought under annual volume contracts at a fixed tier and quoted as its own line, so you can see the grade you are paying for.
- Aluminium / iron trolley systems
- 360° spinner and inline wheels
- TSA and combination locks
5 · Testing & packing
Drop, wheel-running, handle-jerk and zipper-cycle tests before cartons are sealed. Carton specs are then optimised for the container, not for the shelf.
- AQL 2.5 / 4.0 in-line inspection
- Batch test reports
- Container-optimised cartons
Design & R&D
Own design team carrying 100+ design and utility patents, tracking international fashion and kids-IP trends and iterating new shapes each season.
- 2D/3D artwork support
- Structural design & patent filing
- Sample room on site
Moulds: use ours, or own yours
Two thirds of enquiries we receive already fit an existing shell. That removes tooling cost and 35 days from the calendar. Where a new shape is needed, tooling terms are written into the contract before any money moves.
- Existing shells: no tooling cost, sample in 7–10 days
- New mould: 35–45 days, cost quoted against confirmed volume
- Tooling ownership and exclusivity stated in writing
- Moulds maintained and stored on site
| Stage | Existing shell | New mould |
|---|---|---|
| Sampling | 7–10 days | 15–20 days |
| Tooling | Not required | 35–45 days |
| Mass production | 25–30 days | 30–35 days |

What we build from
Material choice drives price, weight and how a case survives a baggage belt. We quote every option so you can choose on purpose.

| ABS + PC composite | Tougher shell, better impact | Volume adult trolleys | Mid |
| 100% PC | High impact, flexible shell | Front-open cabin, premium lines | Mid-high |
